Microsoft Word As a student, Microsoft Word is a program that I use constantly for my classes. From an early age, I remember using Microsoft Word to type out my spelling words in elementary school, and I still use Microsoft Word to type my research papers in college. In my experience with Word, it hasn't been my favorite to use, but it is the most common. Every class that I have had has expected students to use Word, even without saying so. My teachers have only used Microsoft Word to show examples of word-typing and processing to my classes, and nothing past that. Because Microsoft has monopolized the computer world, it has become a necessity for both students and teachers to utilize in the classroom. Introduction Hi! I'm Josh, a senior at FSU double majoring in Media/Communication and Theatre with a minor in Education. I am from Orlando, Florida, and I hope to work in marketing or administration for a theater company in the future. I'm currently the Marketing Director for Student Theatre Association, an organization on campus that helps students in all aspects to put on a show. I have two internships currently: one with King Arthur's Tools, which is a local Tallahassee company where I do their social media and marketing. My other internship is with the School of Theatre at FSU, where I am a Community Engagement Intern and help out in their office and events. I am graduating in May and can't wait to see what the world has to offer! Experience One of my first encounters with technology in the classroom was in high school, where my teacher used a Doc-Cam to project the homework on the screen. It was very similar to the age-old projector, but he could do it f...
