Introduction
Experience
One of my first encounters with technology in the classroom was in high school, where my teacher used a Doc-Cam to project the homework on the screen. It was very similar to the age-old projector, but he could do it from his desk, and the picture was much clearer. I've also volunteered at Raa Middle School a couple of years ago, where I got to observe the English teacher using a SmartBoard in front of her students. I've seen classes that have gotten laptops to take home and even some privileged schools that gave every student an iPad. Even in college, I had a class last year that required me to use Twitter and tweet our thoughts about the reading before every class.
In This Class
In this class, I hope to learn everything I can about the ever-changing and ever-growing use of technology in the classroom. Each year, technology and innovation increase, and thus we as teachers have to adapt. It's always important to stay updated and know what is happening in the world around us. If we as teachers are less educated on technology than our students, than what is our purpose?

I always admire persons who know well about what they are passionate. Sounds like you're pretty much ready for the next step! However, I believe you'll get closer to perfection with this course. :-)
